What Have I Been Doing?
First off, going to say that my blog post may be a little short this week (relatively) ... if for no other reason than I had a realization this week that I have been typing some mighty lengthy blog posts. It dawned on me that one line on a 27" widescreen monitor is about 5-6 lines on a traditional screen size, so I'm trying this blog post with a different window size. We'll see how it goes. =)
Lately, I've been doing the final prep stages for laying out some changes in the JC coming soon. As some of you may have seen, I published another update to my SBS Widget Pack - Plugin adding some simple Twitter wrapper widgets for their standard Favorites, List, Profile, and Search widgets. Plan to use these in various locations in the Jive Community ... and as a result ... promote your conversations more.
So if you haven't done so yet, make sure to link your Twitter to the Jive Community, and use the tag #socbiz to have your status updated in the JC.
Not to be forgotten, I have been working with Support and our Documentation team to find a way to efficiently share issues found after software has been released. We are currently working through the logistics of balancing too much information vs. too little. We are optimistic that we are closing in on a solution that will provide a relatively quick short-term solution that meets the desired intent and is with-in the realm of sustainable moving forward. We hope to share the artifacts of these efforts soon. Be on the look out for a poll asking about acceptable forms for posting the errata information.
Finally, I was able to get some good feedback and buy-in on my proposals for the new IA for the Jive Community, so I'm hoping those revisions will make it through review soon ... such that I can share them with the rest of you to get some more feedback. I'm surprised I kept that all straight in my head.
More of the same unfortunately. User Group awareness, IA ratification, vetting changes to the JC, and hopefully executing some of the changes sooner than later.

Perhaps you have a question and really need to get some more feedback, or you have an up and coming idea that needs a little nudge. Either way, let me know and I'll be happy to promote it.
Our first edition comes from our good friend John Schwiller who would like to promote is a discussion regarding the fine-line of content privacy exemptions. Check it! =)
