In this episode of Hats Off, I'd like to issue a shout out to two amazing bloggers: Trisha Liu (left) and Marnie Pasciuto-Wood (right). Most recently, Trisha posted Community Management 101: No Censorship, By Trisha Liu, ArcSight, an HP company. An awesome article for up and coming community managers about how to embrace participation and both sides of an argument. Definitely a must read, as the urge to delete is very difficult to overcome when getting started. Next there is Marnie, who posted some awesome social analysis on Who Won the Brand Bowl? Results from Super Bowl Social Showdown. Whimsical, yet educational. Definitely a must read if you are new to social media monitoring and analysis.

What Have I Been Doing?
Continuing on from last week, I've been working on rolling out some of the new places for collaboration in the JC. The themes we are looking to establish are strong vectors in Regional User Groups, Thought Leadership, and what we call Social Solutions. (as noted in the Links menu, right) In case you haven't noticed, here are some of the new Social Solution places in the JC for members to join to talk about what interests them:
- The specified item was not found. - Place for people to come together and discuss their social business best practices and use-cases as it relates to customer service.
- Marketing & Sales - Similarly, for people looking to optimize their Marketing and Sales workforce with Social Business. What works? What doesn't work?
- Social Intranet - The use case to end all use-cases. Social business platforms as a social intranet. Lots of stories to share here!
- Information Technology - A place for business minded technical folk to meet and discuss technical issues as it relates to social business adoption & enablement.
If you have a topic that you'd like to discuss, please feel free to join a group and share your thoughts!
Just released updated versions of the QuickTemplates - Plugin and QuickLinks Plugin, so that's my development spurt for a while. Looking to take the feedback from What are your Top 3 Admin & Top 3 User Ideas you'd like to see in the Jive Product? (feedback window ends tonight at 9PM PST) and curate the results for discussion with product management. We'll see what happens. =) I greatly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to submit their feedback. So stay tuned ...
Additional work on the structure and releasing new pieces of the community as soon as they are ready.
