Case #176215: Email setups


Having great difficulty getting the smtp email settings to work.


Our email server settings are...



Outgoing Mail Server: (SSL) or (server requires
port 465

Supported Incoming Mail Protocols: POP3, POP3S (SSL/TLS), IMAP, IMAPS

Supported Outgoing Mail Protocols: SMTP, SMTPS (SSL/TLS)


HOWEVER when talking to support at A2Hosting I was told to use the following (which I have done and still no joy):


Per our phone call I recommend this for your SMTP settings at your JIVE remote web application :

Username: full email address with @
Password: email password
Port: 25 or 2525
SSL: off
Server: or

I recommend sending test emails after you get this setup to ensure it's working.
