Thanks to the support and participation from the JiveWorks community, the Learning and Development track is becoming a reality. It's going to be packed full of great content and presenters who know how important learning is and will show you how they utilized Jive to make the learning process even better. Learning is a universal use case. Knowing how to do your job and being able to locate, leverage and act on that knowledge are all important parts of our daily work lives. Whether you are looking to educate your employees, customers or empower your partners, find out how to use learning communities to your advantage.
This capstone track will be featured on Wednesday, May 3rd for a total of four exciting sessions. We welcome companies of all sizes, regardless of internal or external focus (although most presentations will be from external communities). L&D is a broad topic, but we have something for everyone whether you are starting to think about implementing learning into your community or need some tips to revamp your current learning community.
Some of the key themes of this track will be:
- Using Jive to enhance your community's capacity to activate learning
- Delivering social learning, managing knowledge
- Empowering and encouraging users to work out loud
In the first session, Jive - The Invisible LMS!, with Andy Wooler from Hitachi Data Systems, you'll find out how to leverage Jive for educational purposes without taking learners to an external Learning Management System (LMS). Already have an external LMS? Find out how to incorporate it seamlessly with Jive. Andy will focus on social and informal learning as a way to cultivate and foster the conversation and learning that inevitably happens outside of LMS systems. Next, find out how the University of Chicago is engaging and fueling their alumni to continue learning on an innovative platform in Jive for Alumni Engagement and Lifelong Learning.
In the third track, Selling is a Team Sport: Integrating Jive-n into All Aspects of a Sales New Hire Program, hear how Commvault took a step beyond traditional e-learning and instructor-led workshops and used Jive to give new hires meaningful activities with real people in a global community. More than just advice on how to leverage Jive for social learning, this is where you can learn how to partner with departments and teams across the company to build a community that aligns with strategic business goals.
The final session lead by Pokeshot, Using Jive to Enhance Your Organization’s Capacity to Learn, Innovate and Activate Knowledge, is rounded out by a panel of community leaders and seasoned learning professionals from Trinity Health, Commvault, Hitachi Data Systems, Ripple Effect Group, Avnet Technology Solutions and The Community Roundtable. These panelists bring expertise from a variety of fields and experiences to share and answer your questions. The topics will revolve around driving adoption with learning-based use cases, delivering social learning experiences and empowering employees to work out loud.
We want you to walk away with a deeper understanding of your organization's use of Jive through learning-focused use cases and armed with concrete ways to boost engagement through learning communities. Check out our schedule on the Jive Software site for more details on the sessions.
We hope to see you there!
