Officially launched in February, it introduces a modernized, sleek and fresh web-based interface to your experience while bringing convenience to your door. With the new UI, you are also able to take advantage of improved speed, making AlertFind faster and more lightweight than the previous version, while also seeing greater compatibility and security in your Emergency Notification System.

 

Built as a responsive design, the new UI smoothly crosses channels, easily scaling to fit your mobile and tablet devices, allowing for easy access to your Emergency Notification System. Leverage AlertFind for critical mass communications whether at the office, out for lunch or home for the day. Take action even faster by accessing your Alert Console and leverage your preset notifications templates right from your mobile device, deliver your notifications, track and engage with your employees in our two-way communication stream.

We are excited to announce our December 2018 release v6.00  for Aurea AlertFind.

 

With this release, we are soft-launching our all-new, responsive web-based user interface (UI).  The new AlertFind UI is a great leap forward in look, feel, and functionality. It utilizes the latest web technologies with a responsive UI design that is compatible with any device of any size.


We’ve also updated the AlertFind UI to reflect our updated Aurea brand.

 

 

Refer to the table below to identify which URL you can use to access the new AlertFind user interface. (You can continue to access the current AlertFind user interface at this time through the standard URL, located in the same table). Please note that because this is considered a soft-launch, you may notice minor functional issues as we prepare for the major UI launch in January.

We are excited to announce our November 2018 release - release 5.31 - for Aurea AlertFind.

 

With this release, we are launching our new SmartContact feature, which eliminates risk and improves accuracy associated with contact management. SmartContact enables a social approach for ensuring contacts are complete and accurate. It also:

  • Automates follow-up with end users to complete contact update tasks
  • Gives administrators visibility into what contact details have been submitted and when
  • Ensures contact completeness and accuracy, which is essential since AlertFind can only reach employees with complete contact details during an emergency


We’ve also included key Quality and Performance improvements, like:

  • Improved performance of “Sent Notification Response Details,” which ensures that reports load faster, enabling easier access to crucial responses during an emergency.
  • Improved performance of ADMT roster file imports - which are essential to third party AlertFind integration. Faster roster file imports ensure contacts are updated more quickly, and enable a more streamlined import or synchronization
  • Improved SOAP API uptime, reducing the risk of such APIs  becoming momentarily unavailable when subcomponents are restarted

Emergency notification systems are what organizations depend on when an emergency strikes. Be it to deliver important communications or get important feedback on the safety and security of employees, such systems need to ensure safe and proper delivery of their communications and AlertFind is designed with this in mind. Aurea wants to keep building on these strengths, bringing the platform into the new decade with added flexibility and functionality.

 

AlertFind has been through some structural changes in 2017 and the work does not stop there. We are already seeing the benefits of several changes that have been performed in 2017, and during the course of 2018 additional updates will make AlertFind more scalable with the ability to reach more people.

 

AlertFind in 2018 will see a totally revamped user interface built using the latest web technologies making it easier to use in the connected world on mobile, tablet or PCs. New web technologies offer functionalities that would not be possible in older technologies, making the product experience on such devices better. Together with this, AlertFind will be integrated with other products in the Aurea portfolio thus making disaster notification easier to use from different systems, but stay tuned for more news on this topic.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect in the European Union (EU) on 25 May 2018. As you may know, the regulation imposes broad data privacy protections for EU individuals and applies to any company that collects or handles EU personal data. At Aurea, data protection is of critical importance so we are committed not only to our own compliance, but also helping our customers address the GDPR requirements that are relevant to our products and services.

**Note: this is the first blog in a short series where I'll write about the usage of this platform, the things we've achieved in the last year and especially the plan for 2018.**

 

At Aurea, we firmly believe that by delivering a better experience to you, you will be empowered to more effectively deliver a differentiated experience to your own customers.  In that light, we are thrilled to announce the release of AureaWorks, our new collaborative customer community, for our AlertFind customers. 

 

Aurea Works is a place to engage with Aurea's team as well as other customers.  We hope to achieve three key benefits through our AureaWorks customer community:

1.  Better Support

2.  Product Education

3.  Collaboration with other users

 

Our Support process has not changed - we still have a separate support portal that we eventually hope to integrate into AureaWorks to create a "one stop shop" for all of your support needs.  But in the meantime, we understand that you are busy and taking the time to create support tickets and wait on responses can be a hassle.  With AureaWorks, we have provided an environment where our customers can self serve by searching for answers to their product questions or leverage the vast supply of training materials.  We are always here for you and happy to receive your call or support case through traditional channels, but we also hope to find more convenient ways for you to engage with us and the broader community.

 

For Product education, we want to ensure we effectively share the exciting news around planned product innovations.  But we also need to learn from you, our customer.  AureaWorks provides a channel for you to give our team direct feedback on what's important to you to ensure that we integrate your product enhancements into our roadmap.  Furthermore, we intend to share product release information and forward looking product innovation strategy on a regular basis so that you are never left wondering what it is that we are doing behind the scenes.

 

And finally, AureaWorks is a collaborative community where you have the opportunity to engage with Aurea personnel as well as other customers.  AureaWorks is all about you - our customer - and we want to ensure that we provide the opportunity to engage with other users to learn about how others are leveraging our technology to create value for their own organizations and inspire creativity throughout our installed base.

 

Aurea understands that you are our most valuable asset and we are continuously exploring ways that we can improve customer experience and find new and creative ways to help you deliver value within your own organizations.  We are excited about the possibilities that this new customer community has to offer and we hope that you share in our enthusiasm.
