Version 2

    Hello fellow internal community managers,

We struggled to come up with the best naming convention for the status levels in our internal community.  It's harder than it looks and while we reviewed best practice and loved the cool ideas from many other organizations we were still confronted with the fact that We.Are.A.Bank - so the names of our favorite cocktails or Star Wars characters were simply not an option for us. We're in to pushing the envelope but we weren't prepared to go to the mattresses on status levels.  And yes, we did think to using banking terms like teller, broker, dealer, CPA, trader, loan officer, etc. - that was shot down - for valid reasons.

So, we thought we would share our status levels.  The most neutral, globally relevant (or at least understood - not lost in translation) and fairly conservative language we could come up with.

Please feel free to lift and reuse so you are not spending hours creating new language - if you have a need for the same.
