Delegate Access (Ghost Blog) FAQ

Version 8

    Overview

The Delegate Access Add-On and Ghost Blog Plugin are both solutions to allow for Jive users to post content as another Jive user.  This is useful for situations where a customer would like a communications team to collaborate and approve a blog post, discussion, or document before posting it as a specific user.

How do I get Ghost Blog / Delegate Access?

Contact your Jive representative for details.

    Initial Configuration

    • Users who want the ability to ghost write should be added to Jive Ghost Writers group.
      • Navigate to Admin Console > People > Groups, and add the user as a Member:

If you don’t see the Delegate Access option in the Actions menu for a blog post and you were recently given access to use Ghost Blogging, you may need to sign out and back in to your community for the option to appear.
