    Elemental Technologies is seeking a self-motivated, socially-savvy individual that is willing to take initiative and responsibility to drive the strategy and adoption of the new customer- and partner-facing Elemental community. As a member of the Elemental Services team, you will consult with internal teams to identify the needs of the community and create solutions to help Elemental employees better engage with customers and partners.


    What you’ll do:

    • Determine and design the strategy for the Elemental community architecture and set measurable goals
    • Develop strategies with internal teams to invest in areas of the community that enhance efficiency for both customers and internal teams
    • Define an approach to evaluate, prioritize and execute on new community-focused programs
    • Define and enforce consistent community governance policies
    • Work closely with Elemental Support teams to identify opportunities to expand self-help tools for customers
    • Work with Education Services to develop customer and partner-facing trainings
    • Mentor internal employees to curate and enhance content delivered to the Elemental community and develop employee-wide trainings on community best practices
    • Coordinate with Marketing to use the community to create a voice for internal teams through the use of blog posts, presentations, etc.
    • Stay up to date on the latest trends of social media and community management


    The job might be for you if you have:

    • 2-5 years of customer-facing community management experience
    • Experience working for a highly-technical software company
    • Passion for best practices, principles, concepts and technologies
    • Excellent organizational, written and presentation skills, ideally with demonstrated technical writing experience
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a geographically-distributed workforce and across functional teams and levels
    • Basic UI/UX design knowledge
    • Ability to multi-task and develop tactical plans that align with the company strategy


    Extra credit includes:

    • 2 years project management experience
    • Experience with JiveX, Salesforce, and Drupal
    • Experience managing a community for a global customer-base
    • Experience or interest working with video products and technologies
    • Demonstrated ability to develop strong internal relationships with technical teams
