    Position Summary

    Act as the department's Technical Super user and level two end user contact.

     Actively participates in system enhancement and upgrade efforts.

     Serves as the Jive Administrator.

     Ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

     Maintains, audits, and updates various tables within systems.

     Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality.

     Install and maintain enterprise software applications Jive, Lotus Notes SharePoint, Jive etc...

     Implement, test, and support Application technology

     Develop process, procedures, and governance in support of the Application

     Assist in implementation of newer of technologies

     Lead and mentor junior engineer

    Qualifications

     

    Job Specifications:

    Required Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

    Professional Required Experience:

    • 6-8 years information technology experience.
    • 2-3 years of Jive Admin experience a must

    Field of Experience:

    • Requires an expert understanding of application systems
    • Has excellent knowledge of business systems and has specific knowledge of the functions supported as well as their associated functions
    • Must be skilled in project management and team building.
    • Ability to analyze, develop and implement complex programming solutions necessary.

    Proficiency Scale:

    • Proficient: Communicates effectively with diverse groups and individuals. Clearly conveys information and ideas and listens and responds appropriately to customers, external contacts, and individuals throughout BOW.
    • Proficient: Develops open, considerate, effective and productive working relationships with customers, external contacts, and individuals throughout BOW.
    • Proficient: Understands and use BOW software, hardware and technology. Ability to operate required office equipment.

    • Basic: Possesses managerial interest and a leadership orientation.

    Level Supervised:

    • May lead small teams and act as mentor to junior level developers

    Physical Requirements:

    • Sedentary Work: Occasional lifting up to 10lbs, occasional standing/walking.
