Version 3

    Summary

There is often a need to utilize the import / export functions of the Theme Tool in your Jive instance. Some examples of why you might need to utilize this feature are:

    • Creating a local backup of a theme
    • Moving a theme to or from UAT or preview instances for testing purposes.
    • Moving a theme from one instance to another after a migration (e.g. Hosted or On-Premise to Cloud migration).

This article will act as a guide to take you through both importing and exporting themes through the Theme Tool respectively. Theme files are managed through a self-contained .zip file which is used in both importing or exporting.
