    1Select hosts

    Bare metal or virtual machines?

    Determine resource requirement.

    2Select storage

    EAE and Search nodes require fast local storage. The tool provided here, Testing Disk Access Speed - JIRA Knowledge Base - Atlassian Documentation, can be used to assess disk speeds.

    Webapp nodes must have shared storage for binary content and extracted search text: Post-Installation Tasks.

    3Select operating system

    RHEL 6 / 7, or SLES 11 SP4 / 12 SP1: Supported Operating Systems

    • Default encoding must be UTF-8
    4Set sysctl configuration
