    Actual Result

    • The Administrators of a Space are unable to mark any discussion created by others as "Official". They can only mark a discussion as "Official" if they create it themselves.

    Cause

    • The Admin/User group added Jive Admin > Permissions > Space Permissions for that particular Space should have additional rights
    • The above-mentioned group should be there into Jive Admin > Permissions > System Administration with the permissions.(Manage System, Moderate Content, Manage Groups, Manage Community)

    Workaround

    • Add the Admin/User group to Jive Admin > Permissions > System Administration with the permissions.(Manage System, Moderate Content, Manage Groups, Manage Community)

This provides all the users in the Group the above permissions. If it is against the policy or if you don't want that to happen, you can try this.

    • Go to the Jive Admin > Permissions > Space Permissions for that particular Space.
    • Under the 'User Override' enter the name of the user you want to have this access and click on 'Set Permission'.
    • Select "User can manage space (select for options)".
    • Select "Full Control" & "Moderate".

Once this is provided, the user will be able to mark any Discussion as
