Theme | Unable to use GIF image in Hero Image tile

Summary

Error :"Your file is not a PNG or exceeds the maximum size" appears while using a GIF file in a Hero Tile at a place

Steps to reproduce

1. Add a Hero Tile to a Place
2. Upload a GIF file to the Tile

Expected Result

The file is uploaded normally as "GIF" is listed as an allowed file type

Actual Result

An error appears stating "Your file is not a PNG or exceeds the maximum size"

Cause

• Hero Image tile doesn't support GIF file format

Resolution

• Issue fixed in Jive version, 2018.1
• Bug: CLOUD-2839

Workaround

• Reformat the image to JPG
