We had some problems early on with a couple of users that could not be found in LDAP so we created them manually. We have since fixed the error. Is there a way to convert the jive created accounts over to use the LDAP?
Yes, if you follow these steps:
- Ensure that the username and email addresses match exactly with the values mapped from LDAP.
- Set the federated value in the jiveUser table to "1" for each user.
- Change the passwordHash value in jiveUser to some non-null dummy value.
- Restart the application servers to ensure that all caches are cleared.
