    We had some problems early on with a couple of users that could not be found in LDAP so we created them manually. We have since fixed the error. Is there a way to convert the jive created accounts over to use the LDAP?


    Yes, if you follow these steps:


    1. Ensure that the username and email addresses match exactly with the values mapped from LDAP.
    2. Set the federated value in the jiveUser table to "1" for each user.
    3. Change the passwordHash value in jiveUser to some non-null dummy value.
    4. Restart the application servers to ensure that all caches are cleared.


    That should be it!
