Version 3
Visibility: Open to anyone

Fed up of using Microsoft Office 2007/2010 Ribbon? Contrary to popular belief, there is no need to add any free or 'paid for' alternatives to make Word look like 2003 used to. All you need to do is to customise the Quick Access Toolbar - change its position to below the Ribbon and then Minimise the Ribbon.

Next, from the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) click on the down arrow at the end of it and select 'more commands'. From the interface that opens, click on the drop-down arrow next to 'Popular Commands' to 'All Commands' - then choose those I have listed in the document - you may want to view a blank document alongside the Quick Access Toolbar buttons document - to do this easily, make the blank document active by clicking on the Application frame at the top then select the Windows Key plus the left arrow to place the blank document to the left. Next move the QAT doc to the right of screen using the Windows key and the right arrow as the 'Add more command' windows takes up a lot of vertical space it is easier to see documents side by sided instead of above and below through using the 'Arrange All' command in Word.
