    Dear Colleagues,

Please find a list of useful websites providing DAISY software.

    Proprietary (paid for solutions):

    http://yourdolphin.co.uk/productdetail.asp?id=10 (Easy Producer)

Free (as in 'free beer') Open Source:

    http://daisy.org/projects/amis/

(AMIS - pronounced 'a mee' - as in Paris - or for Nintendo Wii users 'a Mii'! - it stands for Adaptive Multimedia Information System)

For a free piece of software this looks particularly good!

http://www.daisy.org/projects/obi/ (obi 1.0 - not Kenobi! referred to in an announcement by Becta on the vi-forum recently)

This piece of software perhaps not as polished as AMIS but might be more easy to come to grips with.

Finally, still under development is Tobi:

    http://www.daisy.org/projects/tobi/

due out in August 2009 (development site is: https://daisy-trac.cvsdude.com/tobi/wiki/inception/requirements/UniqueSellingPoints for more information)
