Version 17

    Jive Hosting has made some changes to the way outbound mail from hosted instances is relayed. These changes will affect the external IP addresses seen by clients receiving mail from Jive's servers.

    To enhance deliverability of email generated from your instance, we recommend you whitelist the following IP's on your corporate relay(s):

    US Customers

    • mail0.phx1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.64.116 - split relay set for US
    • mail1.phx1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.64.117 - split relay set for US
    • mail0.ewr1.jivehosted.com - 192.250.208.112 - split relay set for US/DR
    • mail1.ewr1.jivehosted.com - 192.250.208.113 - split relay set for US/DR
    • o3.jiveon.jivesoftware.com - 167.89.36.126 - Jive Cloud customers only
    • o2.sendgrid.phx1.jivehosted.com - 50.31.48.137 - Hosted customers only
    • jiveon-mail.phx1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.64.13 - Jive Cloud customers only

    EU Customers

    • mail0.ams1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.80.116 - split relay set for EU
    • mail1.ams1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.80.117 - split relay set for EU
    • mail0.lhr1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.95.57 - relay set for EU/DR
    • o3.jiveon.jivesoftware.com - 167.89.36.126 - Jive Cloud customers only
    • o2.sendgrid.phx1.jivehosted.com - 50.31.48.137 - Hosted customers only
    • jiveon-mail.ams1.jivehosted.com - 204.93.80.114 - Jive Cloud customers only

    And create an SPF record with the following content in the domain you're using for your hosted instance:

    US Customers

    "v=spf1 ip4:204.93.64.116 ip4:204.93.64.117 ip4:192.250.208.112 ip4:192.250.208.113 include:sendgrid.net -all"

    It should be very rare for customers to receive mail from 204.93.64.13 directly, so we're not including it in the SPF recommendations at this time.

    EU Customers

    "v=spf1 ip4:204.93.80.116 ip4:204.93.80.117 ip4:204.93.95.57 include:sendgrid.net -all"

    It should be very rare for customers to receive mail from 204.93.80.114 directly, so we're not including it in the SPF recommendations at this time.

    For any user that wants an email associated with their user record, but doesn't want to receive emails, have them set their email domain to "@nomail.com".  This domain is automatically dropped on the outbound relays.
