JW09 Session: Facebook for spies: Enabling social collaboration in a community trained not to collaborate

Version 2

In September 2008 the federal government introduced a social networking capability to help a community of spies share insights, debate, and communicate. The goal of A-Space, like intelligence analysis in general, is to protect the US by assessing all the information available to the spy agencies. This session will explain how Social Business Software was deployed in an organization trained not to share information and how those best practices can be applied to any industry or company.
