    Discover how University of Maryland University College (UMUC) brought 8,000 faculty and staff together to build a vibrant global community.


    UMUC's challenge was to build an internal online community and enable collaboration among more 2,400 staff dispersed across the globe. They were so successful that the program grew to include adjunct faculty, growing their user base to 8,000 people.


    Despite having limited resources, the team implemented an effective adoption strategy to educate, train and enable their sometimes skeptical audience to join and participate in the Engage community. In this session, learn about the specific tools and strategies used to transform users with little experience with social technologies into a cohesive global community.
