I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm a new Jiver -X located in Toronto, Ontario. Specifically in the Yonge & Eglinton area. My name is Luigi Mariani and I work in the education department for a software company called Blueprint. We recently purchased Jive to solve for an external customer support community and I'm hoping there are other people out there in the same boat as me(us). I say us because I work with another community manager Saranya Yogarajah to run our site and manage all the discussion, ideas, support cases and documentation that we have migrated into Jive. We've had quite a few hiccups along the way, but also some great successes.
We recently attended the JiveWorld16 conference in vegas and came back with some really good ideas and priceless connections. I tried to create an Informal community meet-up at the conference, but everyone was [suspectedly] too busy to attend. The purpose of the meet-up seems to be exactly what this group is trying to accomplish - fellow Jive users collaborating to share best practices and their knowledge of social adoption as a whole. I'm curious if there are any scheduled meet-ups in the near future. And to answer your question, I haven't checked the events yet, I was too excited to create this blog post, but will be checking shortly. If you want to get in touch with me to chat, or let me know about something coming up, please check my information and send me a direct message, reply to this post, or if you're more comfortable, you can find my email in my profile.
