Re: Will events appear in Jive Mobile?
brian.gil Jan 11, 2013 3:52 PM (in response to owain)We are looking at that, yes. The good news is that Events is moving into the core application in a forthcoming Cloud release. That would later get rolled into Jive 7. What that enables is for events to flow through the Jive Platform API which is what the mobile applications are dependent on.
Happy to hear any specifics you have in mind so when we design it we can take your needs into account.

ruth_neighbors May 31, 2013 10:58 AM (in response to brian.gil)Did this happen? I'm testing out a Try Jive instance with mobile and don't see the event calendar displaying. And actually, i'm using the browser, not the app right now in mobile.

Re: Will events appear in Jive Mobile?
olivia.teich Jun 1, 2013 8:20 AM (in response to ruth_neighbors)It depends on which view you're accessing: if the full web app (e.g., via tablet browser), then you should see it and if not please open a case so we can investigate further. If though, as I suspect, you're getting the mobile-specific view, then whether in the browser or app events are something we're still planning to add but aren't there yet.

Re: Will events appear in Jive Mobile?
ruth_neighbors Jun 3, 2013 7:47 PM (in response to olivia.teich)To meet my client's requirement of being able to see this via mobile, I was able to do workaround by adding a link to the event (and to a poll) by creating a status update or a discussion. That shows up in the activity stream in the mobile app, and then you can click on it to get to the browser version (log in again) and rsvp that way.
