I'm no expert but my guess is that Jive's gamification is a modified version Nitro, therefore you'd have to do some back end work to get it talking to Salesforce's version of it. As they both essentially run on the same platform this wouldn't be as complicated as it could be. It would be good to hear from someone with experience though!
Jive's Gamification Module can work along side Nitro for Salesforce. The only step you would need to take would be to talk with Bunchball to purchase the Salesforce functionality so that those actions show up when you go to create new missions.
Then when someone completes something in Salesforce, that badge or reward will also show up within their Jive profile.
It's great to know that that is possible. I understand from what I've read that Jive Gamification is coming to the cloud offering within the next few months, is that still the case? It could certainly be something to consider if and when it does.
Phillip - Still a work in progress, slated to be worked on in Q2 of this year, but no firm ETA.
I'm a rep here at Bunchball and would happy to talk to you about the Jive Gamification Module and Nitro for Salesforce.
