Re: Community Metrics and Reports
scottmclfmr Apr 11, 2013 3:09 PM (in response to p0044660)One of the biggest ones we are planning to watch in our upgrade (coming soon) is the time saved searching for data. This isn't something that you can pull a report on. It takes users thinking about how long it takes them to do a task without Jive and then how long with Jive. You don't need to poll every user, though. Just take a sampling and use those numbers. It's a great metric to use!

We built a QlikView platform that sits on top of Jive's Analytics database that provides a more granular and faster approach to exploring the activity your Jive Community. It is far easier than the BOBJ module and provides extremely fast access to all of the underlying data. It is really geared towards clients that are wanting more detail than you can get out of the CMRs. Happy to give you some more detail if you are interested.

I would say I’m just as interested in your community metric methodology as the actual technology you’re using. Do you have any stories of how your platform provided you with information that helped with a business decision, use case or particular group?

kusuma May 7, 2013 11:42 AM (in response to bchamberlain)Hello Bill,
Would you be able to share information on the Qlikview platform built for metrics? I have been using CMR to measure user activity and highly appreciate seeing an advanced layout for user analytics.
Thanks,
Kusuma
