Sorry, I don't really get this one
Batch operations as in multiple tasks checked so that I can make a change to all simultaneously.
If I click the [check-all] button at the top of the page, it selects all tasks in the list then it presents me with a menu of possible operations for example:
- mark all as done/undone
- assign a priority to all of them at the same time
- give them all the same due date
- assign them all to one person
Currently the list of options appears only when everything is checked (when I use the check all box at the top). But what if I want to check only 3 tasks and perform a batch operation on them? There is no allowance for this. The only workaround is to check all of them, then deselect the unwanted ones one at a time.
Immediately to the right of the [check-all] button, there should be a down-triangle button. Press that, select 'Manual' from the dropdown it opens, and you can manually select multiple specific tasks.
I thought that was part of the ordering/sorting scheme! Totally overlooked it!
