Notifications on What?

I am having a hard time trying to nail down what triggers a mobile notification on the new Jive mobile iOS app. It seems to be inconsistent, but I can't imagine that it would be.

Is there a doc that lists out actions that trigger a mobile notification?

As far as I know, all the stuff you follow in Inbox or suppose to get notification in Inbox triggers mobile notification.

I am on IOS 8, and I am not receiving Notifications such as Group Invitation in my mobile inbox. It does show in my web app Inbox. Is this what you are experiencing?
