Thanks for raising this question on how to manage teams/groups. I believe you're referring to Leagues and Teams, is that correct? If so, please refer to the documentation here:
As for adding users, they must join the team, so I don't believe you're able to add them.
For Nitro Studio, I see this was mentioned for Q4 here:
However, my internal notes show Bunchball is still testing this out, so we don't have a firm timeline. The general anticipation is sometime before end of year or into early next year.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you needed anything else.
It is leagues & teams that Im trying to enable. I was able to set up the leagues & teams in the console however, the issue still remains that I'm unable to make the leagues/teams visible from the user end for them to be able to join.
If you're able to link me through to any documentation that shows me how to make the teams visible so that a user can join that would be great!
Thanks for getting back to me. The documentation I've linked above is aimed more for system administration. For users to join the leagues and teams, you'll want to first add the respective Gamification widgets on for a place (a summary of widgets is available here: Gamification). From the Overview Page of a place, navigate to Manage > Overview Page and add the desired Gamification widget:
- Team Challenges
- Team Standings
You'll need to edit the widget to select the desired league/team, but the user will have the option to join once this is published.
I hope this helps. Let me know if needed anything else.
Happy new year Jeph
Unfortunately I'm getting a blank screen come up when clicking on the link you provided above- Gamification
In the admin console, there is no existing gamification widgets to be able to add them to a space. I've arrived in Luxembourg to roll this out tomorrow & it's beginning to stress me out.
Any update on the Bunchball update? Is there any way to escalate this or get access to it?
I don't have any of the gamification widget as an option in the console for me to add it. Any advice?
