Tile Creation in Jive

Guys,

We in our organization are trying to develop a tile in Jive to show the upcoming birthdays etc. We plan to use tile to use the OSAPI calls to get information on people's DOB. In order to show the data we need a simple table based visualization that can be shown on a whole page like a Excel sheet. But, I noticed that tiles support only a narrow width on the side of activity page.

Does anyone has an example where they might have created a tile with full page view.

Hi,

I would create a custom view tile for this (Creating Custom View Tiles). This allows to bring in your own visualisation.

  Thanks for your response. I have looked into creation of Custom View Tiles but i see that tiles can be put on a page only in a narrow side bar. My real question is if we can have tiles take whole space on the page like a normal widget. If yes, can you provide any such example?
