We had a similar question in case 1477887.
The answer was: "Windows Integrated authentication allows to configure both Kerberos v5 authentication and NTLM authentication. This is just a configuration on IIS level and nothing to do with ACRM. Basic authentication via username/password is also supported. There is no support for SAML v2.
ACRM Web and ACRM Designer supports Windows Authentication (NTLM, Kerberos or any other provider supported by IIS) and Basic Authentication".
Please let me know if you need more details.
Today, we have spoken in-house about the external access of our employees, who are active worldwide, to our Aurea CRM.web. Currently we use Citrix with two factor authentication, which works but is not optimal.
The subject of authentication methods has been discussed with SAML2.0 and Oauth2, which Aurea currently does not support for ACRM. But there seem to be several customers who want these authentication methods in the ACRM.
Since 12.06.2019 there is an enhancement request AUREASPECS-2284 at Aurea. Is there a decision on this enhancement request? Better still, in which version is this available?
Maybe there are still a few fellow campaigners, who have an interest in the implementation of the enhancement request AUREASPECS-2284.
As mentioned in 01551477, I propose to continue this discussion here instead of a Support request.
The Product team has not provided any information regarding this opportunity, even if know that it would be a useful one.
You are mentioning other customers who would be interested in. Can you please let us know more about?
With my thanks.
Dear Mr. Forner,
When I search the Aurea Support KNOWLEDGEBASE for SAML or Oauth, I get several hits that were probably initialized by customers.
I wanted to understand my post but rather as a call, so hopefully more customers here tell their needs.
