    Jive Core REST API v2 and Ajax calls

      I have to customize the follow action available on spaces.

      To do this, I have to customize the service that is called when a user clicks on the follow button.

      Using firebug and browsing the javascript code, I have found that when the user click on the follow button a POST request is executed to the address http://localhost:8080/__services/v2/rest/follows passing for example the arguments: {"objectType":"14","objectID":"2002"}

      Is this service documented somewhere? The services documented at http://docs.jivesoftware.com/apireferences/core/reference/v2/index.html seem different.

      How can I customise this service?

          I've found out how to customize this web service. It is defined in spring-wsInternalContext.xml.

          The implementation class is com.jivesoftware.community.follow.rest.impl.FollowingServiceImpl that implements the interface com.jivesoftware.community.follow.rest.FollowingService.

          This interface defines the path /follows that is necessary to call this service.

          I'm still wondering why it isn't documented, but probably because it's an internal service.
