My guess is that you'd need to extract the data into a different database such as teradata to effective use the Microsoft BI stack on it.
Just to follow up on this. I have had no issues connecting to the Analytics Databse as it is an Oracle back-end and there are a two supported drivers for interfacing with Oracle data in Microsoft SSRS for reporting. One is provided by Microsoft and available with the default installation and the second can be downloaded directly from Oracle. The only feature not available that I have noticed is the lack of driver support when using the GUI Query Builder but an alternative would be to just use a tool like DB Visualizer to build your queries and paste them in to SSRS when complete, even when hard coding the queries this would be a preferred tool.
