    Do you get spam as a result of your community account?

      A fellow community member said that she felt she was getting spam as a result of her community account. I checked her account settings — she doesn't have any fields set to reveal information to non-registered users, and we keep a fairly vigilant watch over people who register to create fake accounts. (The member is getting spam from outside sources, not from community addresses.)

       

      I haven't noticed any significant increase in spam. I'm curious to hear from both Jive and other community managers if you've experienced this or have insights into what the chances are that profile information can be crawled by spambots, if at all.
