I was just wondering, what are the different things we can achieve with the "like" feature. A list of all things that will showcase the value "liking" something that bring.
Can people here from their experience share their insights? such as filter the most liked content or search based on likes etc
But are there other things that happen when you like a content type? For example if I like a content by X and if Y is following me but not following X, will that person still sees that I have liked the content by this X in his activity stream when he/she has filtered to see feed from only his connections? Is there any recommendation engine which picks liked content? Are there any algorithms? Can we do any analytics on liked content? etc
