      Someone with a particular interest notices that another person has similar or complementary interests. The first person clicks a link to "add as a friend" the second person. If approval is required, the second person receives the request and decides whether to approve it and become a friend of the first person; otherwise, the bidirectional relationship is created automatically.


      Can you check re the issues raised in Duplicate Friending Notification Emails    particularly around what is happening when their are two 'parallel' friend requests in play.


      Ryan is also having a status update discussion with some people today who are also getting a bit confused about the process on JC.
