    Active Members Definition and Spike

    Susan Fariss

      Hey, all:

We have an active member trend report that includes the value Active Member. The definition appears to be a unique user id performing at least one end user activity. Does this mean a logged in user?  And this includes View as well.

Also, has anyone else seen a spike in the number of Active Members?  We've had that number jump quite a bit in the last 2 months. Could this be a bot?

In our Activity Trend report we see a Container Name labeled "No Value Supplied" with the activity of "LOG_IN" that is very high month over month - for April this was an activity count of 57,629. I do know that the Container Name value comes from where the visitor was when the action was taken.  I just continue to be confused by this Container Name and it's big numbers.
