Go to the blog where it was scheduled to be published in the future, click on Manage under Actions list, and then Posts in the right column. They are listed most recent at the top, so the scheduled one(s) will be easy to spot, and their icon is a bit different, too. Click on the title to edit or view it.
Also, I just found the Browse -> Content -> Drafts view. This will also show blog posts in addition to other documents in a draft state; although, I haven't tested if blog posts are only visible to the original author.
Anyone got any views about the fact that when a draft blog post is finally published (manually at least) it is published with the original draft date and not the publish date.
I recall Deirdre Walsh 's post at JW11 saying something like "wasn't that an awesome keynote" when it had a date 2 days in the past! Intuition eh? Seem to recall she manually addressed that on day 2
Dont think this has been fixed yet on J4T, I just tested with a draft from yesterday but a user mentioned it after he took over a week to polish his blog. I think the draft date is less relevant than the publish date.
Edit: a blog post also doesn't show a last edit date.
I hunted for a case about this around JW11 time but couldn't find it. Cant even find the comms with Deirdre but must have been DMs. Well it *was* a bit hectic and I didn't have a new job about to start either :)
So looking at this thread, I see two items for discussion:
- Discoverability of Post Dated Blog Posts (Improvement)
- Create/Modified/Publish Dates for a Blog Post (Bug/Improvement)
Based on this knowledge, I will go ahead and work with Support to get a bug filed on the Blog Post date.
As fo the discoverability of Post Dated Blog Posts, I think it makes sense to post an Idea in the Employee Engagement & Collaboration: Jive Platform community.
I have gone ahead and seeded the idea for you. =)
If there are any other issues I have addressed, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. =)
