By the way, tried both Firefox and IE 6 with same behavior.
I have installed ClearSpace version 1.3.0.
Upgraded today to WAS 126.96.36.199 without that fixing the problem.

When you are setting your instance up, during setup of the enterprise application install, you may need to select 'precompile jsps' and then in the next screen select jdk options, I think by default WAS uses 1.3 to compile jsps, and CS requires 1.5.
To make the WAS JSP engine compile JSP's in JDK 1.5 mode I initially added the file ibm-web-ext.xmi to the clearspace.war file, under \WEB-INF\directory, and specified jsp source lvl like this:
<jspAttributes xmi:id="JSPAttribute_5" name="jdkSourceLevel" value="15"/>
I then ran the JspBatchCompile.sh, just to be sure.
However, I now reinstalled the original clearspace.war following your instructions, "select precompile jsps and select JDK-options" but with the same results/problem.
Am I the only one with these symptoms in WebSphere? :o)
Same error happened here, I used WAS 188.8.131.52
Very appreciated if anyone can provide the solutions.
Can you try updating WAS to 184.108.40.206? There's an acknowledged bug in WAS where they incorrectly interpret the path. Fixes and description here:
All issues have been fixed in Clearspace 1.4.0, as long as you ensure that name="jdkSourceLevel" value="15" is set before compiling the JSP's, and add a parameter to the WebSphere WebContainer "com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.invokefilterscompatibility=true".
WAS 220.127.116.11 or newer is a prereq ot use the last parameter.
