    spring security available in jsp?

I'm trying to figure out a way to generate a small piece of static content on a daily basis from an external process.  I need the data to be accessible from an HTML widget, but it must not be available to guests.  One method I have run across would be wrapping the data in a JSP and using the spring securitycontext.  However, I have been unsuccessful toying with some of the taglib examples online or trying to use SecurityContextHolder.getContext().getAuthentication().isAuthenticated() in a JSP page.

Is there any other way to accomplish this without significant modifications or a plugin?

      Thanks!
