Did you get any info from the broader community? What are you doing to take on the 'insights' process (or as I sometimes refer to it "Harvesting Value" from the Community)?
Good question Grant. We have a Communities and Collaboration Team of 4 to 5 people and we are always on the lookout for great insights and quotes from our members; both internal employees as well as customers and partners.
We tend to just forward them up via email to the team. A better strategy, of course, would be to have a document that we all contribute, collaborate and leverage for future presentations and executive briefings.
Here is an idea and one that I have used. Create a group on Insights and Quotes and let people in your community share and vote on the best of the best, and when and how they have used the phrases. Also people can share any copyrights or clearances they have or contacts to get permission to use the quote. It will all be in one place and easy to find and access.
