Post Update on behalf of user, Jive REST API

      Hello,

I have a question in regards to the Rest API authentication.  For my integration with Jive I would like to take activity from our system and post it to Jive as an update.  I would also like for this activity to display as submitted by the acting user.

If we have a client using jive and have SSO setup can we utilize this in anyway with the REST API.

How would I make a rest api call on behalf of this user? (lets say to create an update in a group as this user)?

Ideally I would like to circumvent any need for the acting user to login to Jive.

Is it possible to have an admin account post on behalf of other users, using possible email address as a unique identifier?

      Thank You,

      Matt
