Before you engage with [Jive], please note that your actions can have a significant impact on the Company and this online community. All Company policies and guidelines apply to [Jive].

A few key items for you to remember:
- Add value and try to be helpful.
- Never include Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI) or Personal Health Information (PHI) in your postings and/or online discussions. Employees must comply with their obligations to follow the Company’s policy on treatment of Company, customer, vendor, or client confidential information and should not disclose trade secrets or nonpublic financial information about the Company, its customers, vendors, or its clients. Trade secrets may include information regarding the development of systems, processes, products, know-how and technology, as well as customer or client lists. Do not post internal reports, policies, procedures, or other internal business-related confidential communications.
- Use good judgment. Consider what someone you respect would say about what you’re sharing.
- Remember, your messages can last forever and are available for the entire Company to see.
Our business is built upon integrity and protecting others. Our values do not change as you enter [Jive]. Just as you would not share personal or confidential information in the elevator or in public, your [Jive] discussions and contributions must not include confidential information about customers, other employees, or business partners. Examples of confidential information include nonpublic financial information about customers and business partners, nonpublic employee telephone numbers and addresses, and nonpublic health care information. Hey Jennifer -- On the Quad (what we call our Jive instance), we have our Community Guidelines. When users log into the Quad for the first time, they have to agree to these terms before they proceed. Like those iTunes terms, it's likely people just click agree without reading, but at least they have agreed to it .
Welcome to the Quad, the online community for employees of Bridgepoint, Ashford and Rockies. Our mission is to be the place to go for collaboration and idea-sharing among employees. We hope you enjoy visiting the community, return often, and become an active member and frequent contributor.
Thank you for taking a moment to review the community guidelines. The guidelines are here to:
1) help you become a valuable contributor to the community
2) explain what kind of conduct to avoid
3) make sure the community is enjoyable for - and respectful of - all our users.
- Keep it clean, keep it professional. Every post should make a positive contribution to the community and should be suitable for all users. The community is open to all points of view on company-related topics. Mature, polite debate is encouraged. We will remove any post or reply that includes derogatory, abusive, offensive, obscene, violent or inappropriate content. Always interact with other users respectfully, as you would in any professional setting.
- Stay on topic. Good contributions help the entire community by providing relevant, insightful information or asking important questions. If your post contains anything unrelated to the topic of the forum or article, it may be moved.
- Be honest, be yourself. The community is intended to be used for the helpful exchange of information between employees. False, inaccurate, or otherwise misleading information is not helpful. Please be sincere in your community participation by only contributing content you know is accurate, and not misrepresenting your identity or your business qualifications.
- Submit only your own, original content. Help us maintain the community's reputation and observe the intellectual property rights of others by only submitting content you have personally written or if you know the owner has given permission to use (and then please properly attribute the owner). The community should not be used to distribute unauthorized copies of any copyrighted material.
- Respect the privacy of others. It's up to you, and only you, to decide whether or not to share personal information about yourself. Any post or reply that includes another user's personal addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information may be removed immediately.
- Don't pick fights. Avoid unnecessary or unproductive arguments. When you see information you believe to be inaccurate or untrue, you may certainly point that out. Always do so with respect, stick to the facts, and identify your source of information. Brawls may earn traffic, but nobody wins and in the end and you may negatively affect your own, and Bridgepoint's, reputation in the process. Don't try to settle scores or goad others into inflammatory debates. Here and in other areas of public discussion, make sure that what you are saying is factually correct.
- Be the first to respond to your own mistakes. If you make an error, be up front about your mistake and correct it quickly. If you choose to edit your post, make it clear in a new reply or comment that you have done so.
- Remember your readers. Writing in ALL CAPS or other excessive formatting can make your contribution difficult to read. Excessive symbols, special characters, and slang can be equally hard to read and may also be confusing to users who are unfamiliar with their meanings. Try to follow standard e-mail etiquette.
- Do not post advertisements. Please respect the community's mission by not using it as a marketing channel or submitting any content you've been paid or otherwise rewarded by a third party to write. Unsolicited advertising will be removed.
- Realize everyone is different. Raw text is ambiguous and often seems ruder than the same words coming from a person standing in front of you. Irony isn't always obvious - text is a flimsy medium without facial expressions, vocal inflection, or body language. Be careful of the words you choose - what you intended might not be what others perceive, and what you read might not be what the author intended.
- Respect your coworkers. Remember that the company is made up of employees who reflect a diverse set of customs, values and points of view. Don't be afraid to be yourself, but do so respectfully. This includes not only the obvious (no ethnic slurs, personal insults, obscenity, etc.) but also proper consideration of privacy and of topics that may be considered objectionable or inflammatory—such as politics and religion.
- Use your best judgment. Remember that there are always consequences to what you publish. If you're about to publish something that makes you even the slightest bit uncomfortable, review the suggestions above and think about why that is. If you're still unsure, feel free to discuss it with your manager. Ultimately, however, you have sole responsibility for what you post or publish in any form.
Content Moderation Rules
Messages may be edited, deleted, or moved to more applicable discussion areas. Community Members may be banned or removed from the community at the discretion of Bridgepoint. While Bridgepoint does not censor employees' thoughts, a post that is deemed not acceptable may be edited or removed without notice. Examples of such posts include:
- "Rants", "slams", or legal threats against anybody.
- Threatening, defamatory, or abusive posts directed towards a fellow employee.
- Off-topic comments which are unrelated to a thread regarding a Bridgepoint-related issue.
- Spam messages or posts repeated in various threads and spaces with little or no reference to relevant topic.
- Language that promotes illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them.
- Political, religious and advocacy posts.
- Fund-raising outside of corporate approved or sanctioned activities and events.
- Vulgar, obscene, or indecent language, information, or images.
- Bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive comments.
- Unauthorized private phone numbers and addresses (to protect privacy).
- Unauthorized copyrighted material or plagiarized content.
- Advertisements or posts that contain any form of commercial solicitation.
- Impersonation of another person or affiliation with an entity.
- The dissemination of malware or other destructive material.
