I'm trying to create discussions and comments through the Jive Rest API v3.3. I can make the GET and POST calls without any problem, however on the POST request the author of the message that is being created is being overwritten by the Authorization user I am setting in the header to send the request. The author is a read-only field on the message entity so I am unable to override that value with a PUT.
Any insight on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
I think posting content on behalf of another use is on the roadmap for a future release of the API. I think I saw that in Oudis presentation last month
