          You can do that through a theme change ... you need to add a hidden parameter to the HTML form that call search.

          The form is in the /soy/nav/navbar.soy path (the template) and the code looks like this ...

          <form action="{buildUrl('search.jspa')}" method="get" id="jive-userbar-search-form">

          <input type="hidden" name="peopleEnabled" value="true">

          <input type="hidden" name="userID">

          <input type="hidden" name="containerType">

          <input type="hidden" name="container">

          <!-- force document result type scope -->

          <input type="hidden" name="resultTypes" value="document">

          The last line is the addition of the filter value.
