    How often should users login or view a community?


      Gauging activity within a community is a common topic as I meet with Group and Space owners to discuss best practices and community design. We've got a third of our company registered, and hundreds, sometimes thousands, joining each week - and they all ask the same thing: How often should I/do I need to login to this Jive thing?


      I started by telling them that it depends on their team, and their personal preference, and how they set their notifications up, among other things. For some people, that made sense, but for most - it wasn't something they could measure and therefore became a barrier to entry for them.


      I wondering what others have set as their benchmark or standard. I would like to be able to tell them "Your users should login twice a week" or "Once a day".
