Great question Renee. We're also interesting in hosting a "Live Chat" in which members of our leadership could host a discussion and answer questions from employees. Due to the busy schedules of executives, reserving a couple hours for them to engage employees would be a much more realistic to get leadership participation. Looking forward to seeing how other Community Managers have hosted an event like this.
I'm curious about this as well. I'm wondering if it would be bad to vet the people and questions before hand to talk with Mr or Mrs So and So from Such and Such dept.
A part of me wants to keep it open, but another part of me also realizes this might be asking for trouble with questions, on things.
I've long had an interest in hosting a live chat in our customer community, something like a tweet chat. But haven't come across a use case or application that makes that possible. I'm interested in hearing other people's success stories.
