There is no out of the box functionality for exporting users that I am aware of. What you can do is run a query against the DB though if you can get access to a copy from your local admin.
You're query would look something like this for regular user profile data:
u.username, u.userid, up.fieldid, pf.name, up.value
from jiveuser u, jiveuserprofile up, jiveprofilefield pf
where u.userid = up.userid
and up.fieldid = pf.fieldid
order by u.username
Alternately, have them run the query and give you the results.
Thanks, appreciate this, I can scroll through 100 users at a time cutting and pasting into Excel which is fine whilst we're small. I really want to organise everything through Jive but I am going to have to put some training sessions in Outlook via email aliases for now I think.
I will ask the DBAs though as this way would be quicker if needed in future. Although I guess a lot of metrics and analytics are built in. I'm thinking about where I might want a chart showing users contributing by dept for example. I know I could export it all and manipulate it but maybe there might be enough built in in 7 when we get that.
Thanks, I did see some scary warnings on some plugins and decided against. I saw v7 will give me metrics on departmental usage which is one thing I want to show.
For the rest it's a case of setting up training sessions and whilst I'll do all that in Jive in future I think I need to get those going via Outlook invitations initially which is why I want the user list.
Let's talk before you put any plug-ins in the system.
