What version are you trying to upgrade? What database were you on with the previous release. And were you using default authentication or were you connecting to LDAP or Active Directory? And lastly, did you see any errors in the jiveHome/logs, or your webserver logs?
The database is blank with no entry
When you say the database is blank, do you mean there are no tables in your database or that the jiveUser table doesn't have any records in it?
