    Excessive Reply Messages in a Discussion


      Our Jive Community is fairly new and we are still working out some of the kinks. Several users utilize a discussion to communicate about upcoming events and invite the company to participate. In order to get RSVPs, users are asked to reply to the discussion. Unfortunately, this has bothered some users because their inboxes are filled with reply messages because they are following someone that is involved in the discussion. I am interested to know how your company handles a situation like this. I really think that this is a good place to communicate about events and get responses on who is involved, but I need to figure out a better way so users don't get frustrated with the numerous messages.
