    Widget content currently unavailable

      Hi there,

      Has anyone seen the message, Widget content currently unavailable, appearing in their Jive?

      We have one user who frequently gets this error (Chrome and IE) when browsing our home page.

      The Widget is  html widget with an anonymous JavaScript function that operates off the onclick command.

      I hope someone's seen this - and has a resolution.

          Ok, I figured this one out and will leave the answer in case anyone else ever needs this.

          The widget contains a Search box and a Search icon and when you click on it, it opens the Search.jspa page with the correct search term pre-entered and the Search result already populated.

          What happened was, I was always pressing the Search icon, but I needed to have a function fire up when I pressed Enter as well.

          Anyway, this is the code and it works a treat ...

          document.getElementById("search-custom").onkeypress = function(e){

              if (!e) e = window.event;

              var keyCode = e.keyCode || e.which;

              if (keyCode == '13'){

                  var searchTerm = document.getElementById('search-custom').value;

                  var searchURL = "https://mentor.jiveon.com/search.jspa?q="+searchTerm;

                  window.location.href = searchURL;

                return false;
