From what I can tell, your snippet looks fine. I would possible check out the TODO example:
and see if you see any differences with the remainder of your code.
Also, if you are doing a bunch of add/remove of the application...you may be running into a caching issue. I remember you asking about setting sandbox properties...have you tried bouncing you sandbox? Apologies, dont have the context of the previous conversation handy ... but thought I'd mention it.
Project tab is now working.
Action tab is being updated as I change the app.xml, e.g. label. but still not launching my app. I can't see any js error in google dev console.
here is the code snippet from our previous chat:
jive.extension.sandbox.enabled = true
jive.apps.cache-control.default = false
jive.apps.cache-control.enabled = true
jive.devMode = true
however I'm not able to add them, because I can't see Admin Console
here is the link to our previous talk: Actions tab issue
when I login to developers.jivesoftware.com/devcenter/ I can see my role is Administrator but I don't have access to Admin console in Sandbox.
OK, I think this is where we are having confusion. How are you deploying this application? Is this via Dev Console, or are you using the Dev App.xml Install App interface? If you are using the latter, then you need to be sure to remove the application using the interface:
and then re-install it. This is only when you change the structure/names of the application. If you dont remove it, then the old definition can still stick around and possibly cause your issue.
If possible, please send me the URL where you are hosting your app.xml and I will give this a try for myself.
I'm using app.xml and it's hosted here:
In Jive Sandbox I couldn't install Dev Console, so I used /apps/market to point it to my app.xml.
So the only issue that I have the content of 'embedded-actionstab.html' is not showing, even the url is being changed in browser.
I just installed your app to the Sandbox and it all seems to be working fine.
To install to the Sandbox, simply go to Apps > Apps Marketplace and paste in the URL of your App.xml. This is unique to sandboxes, whereas to install to a real Jive instance you would use Dev Console or preferably the Add-On Services interface.
Hope that helps =) Looks like you’re well on your way!
It's not working. I use jive developers sandbox as well
click Home - > Actions -> then click on my app. Its not loading the page.
I tried it on chrome and FF.
can you reproduce the issue that I have?
No. I click on the Actions, and it loads the appropriate window with a model to login. (assuming that’s the behavior).
Try logging out of the Sandbox and logging back in,and see if it’s a browser cache issue.
I might need to reinstall the app again.
