Re: When limiting purchases in the Shop, is it historical/forever or per session?
annetown Jun 4, 2014 1:16 PM (in response to annetown)Just did some snooping in the site, looks like it did indeed do this for a lifetime. Does anyone know how to get around this in Bunchball?

annetown Jun 9, 2014 7:56 AM (in response to CurtisG)Two per purchasing cycle - which can sometimes be per quarter, sometimes per month. Is there a way to set it per month, Curtis?

annetown Jun 9, 2014 9:39 AM (in response to CurtisG)Yeah, I was hoping I could find something from other bunchball users. I can't seem to get much support from them.

Re: When limiting purchases in the Shop, is it historical/forever or per session?
dkatz Jun 9, 2014 10:40 AM (in response to annetown)As you already determined, this limit is indeed a lifetime per user limit for each item. I would recommend that you create items specific to each purchasing cycle, and then utilize this limit. The plus side of doing it this way is that you are creating scarcity by time, and can potentially convey to users that these are limited items only available for the next X months.

annetown Jun 9, 2014 1:13 PM (in response to dkatz)So essentially delete the item and then refill it?

dkatz Jun 12, 2014 4:04 PM (in response to annetown)Delete it, or utilize the start/end dates on items to limit the availability to a specific time period for each purchasing cycle.
